This independent guide cannot see, reset, or unlock accounts, so every step below happens on the official site. We read the login, password-reset, and help screens at lagoslife.app on 12 October 2026 without signing in, and matched them with the unlock steps the game posted on X late on 11 October (Lagos time).

How do you log in to Lagos Life?

  1. Open lagoslife.app in Safari, Chrome, or another full browser.
  2. Choose Log in. Selecting a map location while signed out also offers login.
  3. Enter your username, or the email you added at sign-up, and your password.

Changed your username recently? Use the new one or your email.

How do you sign up for a new account?

Choose Sign up. On 12 October 2026 the form asked for your name, a username (3–20 letters, numbers, or underscores), a password of at least 8 characters, an optional email, and your date of birth, plus a box confirming you are 18+ and agree to the Terms. Date of birth was not on the form we saw on 7 October. Add an email: the form says you can log in with it too. Already registered? Log in rather than making a second account. Forgot your Lagos Life password?

  1. Select Forgot password? on the login screen and enter your username or email.
  2. Answer a few questions “only the owner of the account can answer”, about your life in the game, such as the @usernames of people you know there. On your usual phone, fewer answers need to be right.
  3. Choose a new password of at least 8 characters. Every other phone on the account is logged out.

Tries are limited. If the account is too new for questions, or you cannot remember the answers, select Can't remember? Ask the team instead to start a ticket.

Account locked? How does the Can't get in? ticket work?

On 11 October 2026 (Lagos time), the official @LagosLifeApp post said every locked account had been reopened and thousands of password resets approved. Its route: lagoslife.app, then “Can't get in?”, then “Check my ticket”, then choose a new password.

  1. On the login screen, select Can't get in? No login or X account is needed.
  2. No ticket yet? Under Ask the team, enter your username or email. An X handle, WhatsApp number, or note that helps prove it's you is optional.
  3. Save the ticket code. It looks like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Screenshot it; it works from any phone.
  4. Check a ticket to see its status: Waiting for the team, Approved, Done, or Closed. Once approved, choose a new password there.

Locked it yourself? The creator's 11 October post says to tap Reopen it now on the same phone, answer your questions, and pick a new password. Locked over your age? If you are 18 or over and picked the wrong year by mistake, log in again and send the team an appeal with your real date of birth; the game says the team checks it against your account and unlocks it. If you are under 18, do not appeal: Lagos Life is only for adults.

Is Lagos Life down, or is it just you?

If the error says nothing was checked, your password is not the problem. Reload lagoslife.app in a full browser instead of retrying repeatedly, and check @LagosLifeApp on X for outage news. The Terms of Use also name lagoslife.eliysites.com as an official service; it showed the same Lagos Life page when we checked, but we have not tested logging in there. Past outages are on our updates page.

How do you spot a fake Lagos Life login page?

  • Check the address bar. Enter your password only on lagoslife.app or lagoslife.eliysites.com. This guide has no login form.
  • Keep secrets private. The game's help screen says: “Never post your email, password or ticket code on X or anywhere public. The team never asks for your password or money.”
  • Distrust code messages. The sign-up form says “We never send you codes.”
  • Never pay for an unlock or buy an account. Terms section 3 bars selling or sharing accounts.
  • Watch for look-alike apps. The Google Play app “Naija Life: Lagos Simulator” (formerly “Lagos Life: Naija Life Sim”) is published by GreatCallie and links to lagoslife.com.ng, not lagoslife.app. Asked whether a Lagos Life game on the Play Store was the creator's, Shalom Rayhamen replied “No”. How do you contact Lagos Life support?

  • Locked out: use the Can't get in? ticket, the route the game itself points to.
  • Report a problem: lagoslife.app/report needs no login. Pick Account problem (or Security bug, Money or payments, Cheating or bots, Something else), then use Check a report to follow it.
  • Email: support@lagoslife.app, the contact in Terms section 32.
  • X: the unlock post asked players still stuck to reply with their username. Share nothing else.

What is the official Lagos Life login link?

Can I log in to Lagos Life with my email?

Yes, if you added one at sign-up. The login field accepts a username or email.

How do I reset my Lagos Life password?

What should I do if my Lagos Life account is locked?

Why does Lagos Life log me out inside X, TikTok, or Instagram?

In-app browsers may not keep your login. The game asks you to tap ⋯ and choose Open in browser (Safari or Chrome). A new password also logs out your other phones.

Will Lagos Life send me a password reset code?

The sign-up form checked on 12 October 2026 says “We never send you codes,” and the help screen says the team never asks for your password or money.
