Lagos Life ZUKO is the “Find ZUKO!” treasure hunt that the game started on 15 October 2026 for ZUKO!, the new album from Fireboy DML. Five letters, Z, U, K, O and !, are hidden at five places across Lagos. Solve the riddle for each, go there, and catch the letter when it glows. Find all five and you get a ticket to Fireboy's Mansion, where you can hear the album inside the game. Every location and riddle below comes from the game's own code, checked 16 October 2026.

Event dates. The hunt went live on 15 October 2026. The album came out at midnight Lagos time on 16 October 2026 (00:00 WAT). The game's code shows the in-game ZUKO! promotion running until 23 October 2026, 23:59 Lagos time. After that, the hunt or the mansion may close or change; we will mark this page if it does.
What is Find ZUKO! in Lagos Life?
Find ZUKO! is a partner event between Lagos Life and Fireboy DML. On 15 October the game's creator posted that “a celebrity artist has hidden five letters across Lagos Life”, and that finding all five gets you “a ticket to his mansion, where you'll hear his new songs before anyone else in the world” (creator's post). The official @LagosLifeApp post said the same: find them all to “unlock an invitation to his mansion”. The artist turned out to be Fireboy DML, who posted “ZUKO! OUT NOW.” as the album dropped (Fireboy DML on X).
Inside the game the hunt is called “Find ZUKO!”, and the instruction is short: read each riddle, go there, and catch the letter when it glows. You play it in the normal city, so you travel between the spots the same way you get anywhere else. See Lagos Life locations for the map and how to play if you are new.
Where are the 5 ZUKO letters in Lagos Life?
Each letter has a riddle in the hunt screen. Here is every riddle as written in the game, and the place it points to.

A few notes on each spot:
- Z, Boat Cruise (Lagos Lagoon). The letter is on the boat, not on the shore. Start the boat ride from Boat Cruise; the riddle names Five Cowries Creek and look for the letter while you are on the water.
- U, Naija Radio (Ikeja). Go inside Naija Radio. The riddle points to the studio with the ON AIR light.
- K, Stadium (Surulere). The riddle says to climb the stands, so check the seating under the floodlights rather than the pitch.
- O, the airport (Ikeja). The letter is at the airport itself. The riddle says it “isn't catching a flight”, so you do not need to book a flight to Abuja or Port Harcourt. If you do want to travel, see Abuja and Port Harcourt.
- !, Jibowu Park (Yaba). The last piece is at Jibowu Motor Park, where the intercity buses load.
The hunt tracks which of the five you have found, and your progress card shows the missing ones as faded pieces of the ZUKO! logo.
How do you catch a ZUKO letter?
When you reach the right place, the letter appears and glows. Tap it three times within six seconds to catch it. The game shows three dots that fill as you tap. If you are too slow, it says “It slipped away! Tap it 3 times, quick” and you try again. As you get near, the hunt also tells you “Warmer…” and then “You're close!”.
Each catch gives you a picture card, “Piece 1 of 5” and so on, with the place you found it. You can save or share these cards, but you do not have to.
How do ZUKO hints work?
Every riddle has two hints:
- Hint 1 unlocks two minutes after you open that riddle.
- Hint 2 has a countdown. You can wait for it, or open it straight away by sharing a picture of your progress. The game shows “Hint 2 opens in” followed by the time left, “or now with a share”.
Sharing is optional. If you already know the places from the table above, you will not need either hint.
What do you get for finding ZUKO?
When all five pieces are found, the game says “You found ZUKO!” and gives you a numbered ticket to Fireboy's Mansion. The mansion in Lagos Life is where the album plays in the game. Before the release time, the game counted down to the album drop; from 16 October you can listen inside the mansion.
- A numbered ticket. Your ticket shows its number, for example “Ticket #1,234 to Fireboy's Mansion”, and your username. You can turn it into a picture for a story or post.
- The Golden 100. The first hundred players to find ZUKO! got a gold ticket. In the game's words, they are “on the mansion's wall for good”. Inside the mansion there is a Golden 100 button that lists them.
- Links out. The mansion also links to Fireboy DML's own pages outside the game.
Players have posted ticket numbers above 100,000 on X. That is a player report; the game does not publish a total, so we do not give one.
Tips for the Lagos Life ZUKO hunt
- Plan one trip. Two letters are in Ikeja (Naija Radio and the airport). Yaba, Surulere and Ikoyi are the other three. Group the Ikeja stops to save travel time and money.
- Bring transport money. Getting around costs Game Naira. If you are low, see how to make money in Lagos Life or Lagos Life jobs first.
- Get your fingers ready. Six seconds is enough for three taps, but not if you are busy reading. Tap as soon as it glows.
- Use the official game only. The hunt is only in Lagos Life at lagoslife.app. Copycat sites with similar names are not part of the event; check the official link.
- Watch the end date. The in-game promotion runs until 23 October 2026. Do the hunt before then.
